Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Targa Real Estate Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and safe for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete maintenance service requests and work orders as assigned by the Property Manager.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including making-ready of vacant apartments, and ensuring that all buildings are well-maintained and safe.
  • Work with vendors and contractors to ensure that all maintenance work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain all building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Assist with special projects as directed by the Property Manager.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff, responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Competent skills using a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to changing weather conditions and physical demands of the job. The ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time is essential.
