Construction Manager

Unified Business Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction projects, a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management.
The Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating with project stakeholders, including Engineering Technicians and Contractors, to ensure timely submission and review of project schedules.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of and experience with construction practices directly relating to seismic stabilization and rehabilitation of structures, especially on projects with high visibility and historic significance.
The Construction Manager will also be responsible for providing analysis schedules, critical path method, and software usage to project team members.
Requirements:
- Experience with commercial construction projects
- Education: degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management
- Knowledge of and experience with construction practices directly relating to seismic stabilization and rehabilitation of structures
- Experience with concrete repair on historic structures, seismic rehabilitation and/or retrofits, construction involving cultural/historic sites, and familiarity with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety training required
- Able to provide cost breakdown estimating and negotiating experience and technical writing
- Must be computer literate and able to open and manipulate Project Team Excel
- Need minimum of 3 references for the CMR

Education: Bachelor's (Required) Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering.

- Cost estimating: 3 years (Required)

Ability to Commute: Alcatraz Island, San Francisco, CA (Required)
Ability to Relocate: San Francisco, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Willingness to travel: 50% (Required)
