Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Hillhouse Construction. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct project job walks to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
- Prepare logistics plans and construction approaches to ensure efficient project execution
- Participate in the General Contractor proposal and interview process to secure new projects
- Conduct daily project walks to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Establish Site Safety Plans to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel
- Maintain a safe and efficient working environment for subcontractors and the construction team
- Monitor and prepare safety reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide site supervision and direction to extended construction and subcontractor teams
- Identify, track, and manage subcontractors' scopes to ensure timely completion of projects
- Allocate manpower and resources as required to meet project schedules
- Interface with Building Inspectors for sign-off on completed projects
- Identify potential project impacts and propose solutions to mitigate risks
- Prepare 2-week Rolling Schedules to ensure project timelines are met
- Conduct weekly Subcontractor Meetings to ensure open communication and address any issues
- Attend and contribute to weekly OAC meetings to ensure project progress and address any issues
- Utilize construction background to identify field issues and suggest potential alternates
- Review subcontractor and vendor drawings and submittals for adherence to plans and specifications
- Prepare, monitor, and update Master Schedule to ensure project timelines are met

Requirements:

- Must have at least 5 years of previous work experience as a Superintendent
- Completion of OSHA 30 is required
- Completion of CPR and First Aid training
- Understanding of construction practices and procedures
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Must be able to successfully complete the background check if offered employment
- Must have basic knowledge of Building Management Systems: security, fire alarm/preaction, FM-200, sprinkler riser location, mechanical systems, electrical systems, data centers, and server rooms
- Must have experience with schedules and scheduling
- Able to work nights/weekends
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to follow through with tasks
- Flexible with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects concurrently
- Self-starter and able to operate in a fast-paced working environment with minimal direction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including experience with MSProject
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
