Job Summary:

Matrix Construction Services is dedicated to delivering exceptional commercial and residential construction projects. As a General Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and successful completion of our projects. With a focus on project management, client communication, and team supervision, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects, including project execution, client satisfaction, and project closeouts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet project deadlines.
  2. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
  3. Supervise and manage on-site staff, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations.
  4. Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  5. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans to ensure project success.
  6. Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  7. Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications:

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Multi-family experience and apartment construction knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Physical: Regularly required to walk, sit, climb stairs, use hands and arms, and drive a vehicle.
  • Mental: Critical thinking, judgment, decision-making, follow-up, social awareness, mathematics, reading, writing, organizational, timeliness, stress tolerance, and communication skills.
