Key Responsibilities of the Production Worker / Packaging Operator:

  • Assist in the operation of machinery across various production sectors.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols while maintaining productivity.
  • Handle and wrap finished products efficiently.
  • Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for at least 7 hours daily.
  • Report any moisture or material issues to the Shift Lead.
  • Keep your workstation organized and clean.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Previous experience with industrial machinery is advantageous.
  • Forklift and production line experience is preferred.
  • Good coordination of eye, hand, and foot is essential.
  • Must successfully complete the company’s forklift training.
  • Ability to read and interpret scales is required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are necessary for adjusting baler weights and timing, along with handling basic maintenance tasks.
  • Basic math skills are required for calculations.
