Senior Business Operations Analyst

At National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Operations Analyst to join our Loan Operations & Administration team. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely completion of department month-end close reporting and quality review of reports.
  • Develop and maintain department operational dashboards and metrics for effective pipeline management and analysis.
  • Manage system operational readiness tasks, including defect tracking, prioritization, and process workarounds.
  • Create business requirements, user acceptance test cases, and execute user acceptance testing for lending applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve business user issues with lending systems.
  • Support internal audit inquiries and corporate card issues for members.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Understanding of standard commercial lending concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of system development life cycle and lending applications.
