Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer I to join our team at Kohler Co. as an Onsite Security Specialist. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our employees, guests, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard Kohler Co. and its assets.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of associates, visitors, and other persons to prevent theft and maintain security.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate security equipment, including multi-channel radios and access control systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local emergency services and other departments to ensure a seamless response to incidents.
  • Participate in training and certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as CPR, First Aid, and fire safety.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent; two-year college degree preferred.
  • Law enforcement, industrial security, or military police experience preferred.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and irregular hours.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
