About the Role

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of our accounting function, including data entry, processing tickets, and accounting support.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, and apply tickets to contracts and settlements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our internal and external customers.
  • Prepare and distribute reports as needed, and utilize software programs such as word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Sort and file documents electronically and/or on paper, and monitor office supplies and inventory.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, and other events as applicable.
  • May prepare outgoing mail, collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail, and greet and direct visitors.
  • Answer phones, assist callers, take messages, and redirect calls to the appropriate party.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent training and experience.
  • Related working experience, with a preference for experience in the functional area supported.
  • Working knowledge of basic administrative and clerical functions, including answering phones, working with spreadsheets, and working with basic office equipment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
  • Strong team player, with discretion in handling confidential information.
Working Conditions

The Accounting Clerk will work in a light work environment, with the ability to sit and/or stand continuously. The employee will be required to have close visual acuity to perform tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
