Health and Fitness Instructors Needed at Greater Somerset County YMCA

Become a part of a vibrant YMCA dedicated to enhancing community well-being in Somerset County, New Jersey. The Greater Somerset County YMCA (GSCY) has a rich legacy of 150 years, positively impacting over 30,000 individuals across multiple locations.

We are seeking enthusiastic Instructors to guide a diverse range of fitness sessions, including Spin, Strength & Conditioning, Bootcamp, Zumba, HIIT Training, TRX Pilates, and Senior Classes. All sessions will be conducted in person, fostering a direct connection with participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate fitness classes focusing on strength and cardiovascular exercises
  • Develop rapport with members and fellow staff
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support
  • Promote a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere
  • Ensure the upkeep and quality of fitness facilities

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Certification in group exercise is mandatory
  • Strong punctuality and communication skills are essential
