Position Summary: The Princeton YMCA is in search of dynamic, enthusiastic, and inspiring Fitness Class Leaders to conduct classes in mat Pilates, Zumba, Les Mills Bodypump, and Cardio Kickboxing.
As a Fitness Class Leader, your role will be pivotal in transforming the wellness journey of our members by fostering a healthy mindset and physical fitness. We seek individuals who are committed to our mission of enhancing community health through active living, youth development, and social responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitates a variety of fitness sessions focusing on strength and cardiovascular training.
- Builds strong relationships with participants and staff to encourage retention.
- Provides exceptional customer service, motivation, and encouragement.
- Creates a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
- Ensures the fitness areas are well-maintained and reports any equipment concerns.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possession of at least one group exercise certification is required.
- Current CPR certification is necessary.
- Previous experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Must demonstrate punctuality and possess strong communication skills.
- Complimentary Individual Membership to any YMCA nationwide.
- 10% discount on most programs at Greater Somerset County YMCA.
