Job Summary

The Business Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department. This position requires a high level of administrative expertise, with a focus on providing exceptional support to our team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced administrative assistance to the department, including developing and implementing administrative processes and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring that departmental goals and objectives are aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate personnel functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Manage Trust and Grant funds, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement customer-focused systems, processes, and behaviors to promote excellent customer service.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and procurement analysis.
  • Monitor and report on departmental performance metrics, including data requests and analytics.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of related experience in a business or administrative role.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently.
  • Knowledge of job-specific technology and software applications.
