About the Role

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patient care, responsible for administrative duties and patient care tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare teams
  • Assist with patient care tasks, including vital signs, injections, and diagnostic tests
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Medication/vaccine administration experience
  • Value-Based Care experience, including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
