Job Summary

Assist physicians with medical procedures in a fast-paced office environment. Perform laboratory testing, quality control, and instrument maintenance to ensure accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform phlebotomy, laboratory testing, and quality control procedures to ensure accurate results.
  • Assist physicians with medical procedures, including bone marrow biopsies, fine needle aspirates, and pelvic exams.
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, including instruments and supplies.
  • Document patient information and test results in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications/Licenses: BLS required; valid driver's license and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.
  • Previous experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician's office with ability to perform venipuncture.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
Work Environment
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; occasional overtime may be required.
  • Will be expected to work at any AON location to help meet AON business needs.
