As a Medical Assistant at CenterWell, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare teams, ensuring seamless patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Perform administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and communicating with healthcare teams.
- Provide clinical support, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting specimens.
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure effective patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Successful completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Certified or registered medical assistant (CMA or RMA) certification.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Medication administration experience.
- 1+ years of medical assisting experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
