Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Installer to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a critical part of our team, you will work onsite with our commercial customers to set up and program their Integrated Security fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and program Integrated Security fire and security systems for commercial customers
  • Dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security
  • Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials, and clean up installation debris
  • Contact customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule
  • Test operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service
  • Read building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as required
  • Coordinate installations with police/fire departments and handle necessary records for notification of emergency calls
  • May manage installation teams on larger projects
  • Travel required, using provided company vehicle and equipment
Requirements
  • Some technical school training is a plus
  • Electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to always operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner
  • Access Control certifications
  • CCTV certifications
