Senior HR Operations Manager

Core Responsibilities:
Enhance and manage the human resources functions of the organization through strategic planning.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and liabilities by implementing and assessing employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices across all locations and branches.
Key Duties:Oversee all employee and client grievances, particularly those related to harassment, discrimination, safety, and potential EEOC claims. This includes directing investigations and conducting interviews with employees and clients while keeping management informed and coordinating with legal counsel as necessary.
Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for all overhead personnel and coordinate any HR-related training initiatives.
Regularly update the employee handbook to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations across all operational states.
Provide risk management services, including conducting compliance audits for timekeeping, meal period penalties, and timely payment. Stay informed about new legislation in all states where the company operates to ensure comprehensive compliance. Collaborate with executive and client management to refine processes and policies that enhance customer satisfaction and compliance while mitigating risks.
Collaborate with the Benefits Manager to maintain and communicate employee benefits programs for all overhead and temporary staff. This includes coordination, training, and recordkeeping for plans across various branches. Maintain relationships with brokers and carriers to ensure compliance with reporting and ACA regulations.
Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources.
Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of employment law, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and wage & hour regulations. Multi-state expertise is essential.
Experience: 5-10 years in Human Resources.
Skills and Attributes:
Ability to work independently, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to connect with a diverse workforce. Must be approachable, discreet, and personable, taking accountability for actions. Exceptional ability to engage with clients in a service-oriented environment.
Work Level:
Operates with minimal supervision, is multi-task oriented, project-focused, and exercises a high degree of discretion and independent judgment.
