Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Client Service Consultant to enhance our Employee Benefits division. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in collaborative environments, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a passion for continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Oversee all facets of client accounts, ensuring robust relationships at the executive level and effectively communicating complex strategies.
  • Service Development: Create and manage tailored service scopes for clients, including healthcare strategies and financial budgets, in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Product Awareness: Keep clients informed about new offerings, capabilities, and compliance updates as they arise.
  • Insurance Review: Assess current insurance needs and develop growth strategies to enhance client revenue and company profitability.
  • Project Management: Coordinate timelines and tasks for project completion, ensuring clarity and accountability among team members.
  • Proposal Drafting: Prepare and refine complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring timely responses from insurance carriers and conducting negotiations as necessary.
  • Client Communication: Design and deliver presentations and communications tailored to each client's employee demographic.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage client financial budgets, providing regular updates and reports on health plan tracking.
  • Expert Integration: Collaborate with internal experts to foster long-lasting client relationships and exceed expectations.
  • Compliance Assistance: Support clients in adhering to relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Community Engagement: Promote a positive image of the company and the insurance industry through active participation in community events.

Vendor Relations:
  • Build strong partnerships with insurance carriers and vendors, addressing escalated issues and negotiating solutions.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, resolving issues and contract concerns as they arise.

Team Collaboration:
  • Mentor and support the professional development of junior team members, sharing knowledge and providing constructive feedback.
  • Lead coordination efforts among team members to ensure effective client service delivery.
  • Demonstrate leadership within the team and contribute to agency-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or HR Management preferred, or equivalent experience. A state-specific Life & Health Insurance agent's license is required or must be obtained within three months of hire.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in life/health, employee benefits, or related fields.
