We are seeking a Senior Legal Advisor to join our dynamic team at Roth Staffing Companies within the financial services sector. This position will report directly to a senior legal executive.
The role encompasses a variety of legal responsibilities, including corporate governance, counterparty agreements, and capital formation strategies.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams to design private investment vehicles, managed accounts, joint ventures, and co-investment opportunities, while also developing strategies for capital acquisition.
This role necessitates providing legal guidance on compliance with regulations and proactively identifying potential legal challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with internal teams to design private investment vehicles, managed accounts, joint ventures, and co-investments.
- Develop effective strategies for capital acquisition and support the firm’s investment initiatives.
- Offer legal counsel and assistance to the compliance team regarding regulatory matters.
- Evaluate legal challenges that may affect capital acquisition efforts and stay informed on legal and regulatory developments.
- Engage with business leaders to ensure that legal risks are mitigated while achieving business goals.
- Collaborate closely with senior executives on investment initiatives and other corporate legal matters.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law institution.
• 3-5 years of experience in a legal capacity, either in-house or within a law firm.
• Comprehensive understanding of corporate, securities, and contract law.
• Experience in advising alternative investment managers and navigating regulatory compliance.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the relevant bar association.
• Enthusiasm for the alternatives sector and corporate/securities law.
• Proven ability to deliver practical, business-oriented legal advice in complex scenarios.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Personal attributes such as self-confidence, resourcefulness, adaptability, initiative, attention to detail, self-motivation, and the capability to manage diverse responsibilities effectively.
