Role Overview:

The Business Support Analyst is responsible for delivering effective administrative assistance by adhering to established protocols and guidelines. This role involves handling moderately complex to intricate challenges where a thorough assessment of situations or data is essential.

  • The Analyst will collect, organize, and validate information, ensuring its accurate entry into various documents such as reports, presentations, or forms, as well as office systems like databases and spreadsheets.
  • Organizes and categorizes documents for efficient processing and filing.
  • Performs standard calculations to compile and report essential statistics.
  • Handles routine inquiries from both internal and external sources, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
  • Coordinates with external service providers for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Engages in other standard administrative tasks in accordance with the organization's established protocols.
  • These tasks may include answering calls, taking messages, managing incoming and outgoing mail, photocopying, filing, operating office equipment, and maintaining inventory of office supplies.
  • Begins to influence departmental strategies.
  • Makes decisions on moderately complex to intricate issues regarding technical approaches for project components, working independently.
  • Exhibits significant autonomy in determining objectives and methods for assignments.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of relevant technical experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.
  • Typing speed of 50-55 words per minute
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently to support departmental needs.
  • Strong commitment to enhancing consumer experiences within the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data entry related to accounts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, internet research, and proofreading/editing
  • Understanding of reporting relationships
