Role Overview:
The Business Support Analyst is responsible for delivering effective administrative assistance by adhering to established protocols and guidelines. This role involves handling moderately complex to intricate challenges where a thorough assessment of situations or data is essential.
- The Analyst will collect, organize, and validate information, ensuring its accurate entry into various documents such as reports, presentations, or forms, as well as office systems like databases and spreadsheets.
- Organizes and categorizes documents for efficient processing and filing.
- Performs standard calculations to compile and report essential statistics.
- Handles routine inquiries from both internal and external sources, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Coordinates with external service providers for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Engages in other standard administrative tasks in accordance with the organization's established protocols.
- These tasks may include answering calls, taking messages, managing incoming and outgoing mail, photocopying, filing, operating office equipment, and maintaining inventory of office supplies.
- Begins to influence departmental strategies.
- Makes decisions on moderately complex to intricate issues regarding technical approaches for project components, working independently.
- Exhibits significant autonomy in determining objectives and methods for assignments.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.
- Typing speed of 50-55 words per minute
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently to support departmental needs.
- Strong commitment to enhancing consumer experiences within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data entry related to accounts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, internet research, and proofreading/editing
- Understanding of reporting relationships
