Leverage your analytical skills to drive business growth and optimization at LinQuest, a national security space leader. As a Data Engineer, you will work with large datasets to identify opportunities for improvement and develop models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute analytical experiments to solve complex problems and drive business impact
  • Research and implement state-of-the-art data mining methods and statistical models
  • Identify and collect relevant data sources and sets to meet client business needs
  • Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning and other techniques
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear documentation and presentations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in driving analytic insights
  • Ability to self-teach and stay current with leading best practices in Python programming, machine learning, and database management
  • Experience working with unstructured textual data and ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Skills:
  • Current/Active government security clearance
  • Solid understanding of applied machine learning methods and algorithms
  • Applied statistics skills, including distributions, statistical testing, and regression
  • Data-oriented personality with proficiency in using data query languages and understanding various data structures
  • Experience with Python, OOP, and MLOps best practices
