Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator 2 to join our team at ManTech International Corporation. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our IT systems, ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for IT systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems, including network devices, servers, and storage systems
  • Assist users in accessing and using IT systems, providing technical guidance and support as needed
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, performing system capacity analysis and planning
  • Provide in-depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems, identifying and resolving complex technical issues
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 5 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Meet IAT Level II - Security+ (Sec+) or be able to secure Sec+ certification or higher
  • Basic router and switch configuration knowledge, necessary for configuration and/or system hardening and compliance scanning
  • Elastic (ELK) Stack configuration and user experience
Security Clearance Requirements
  • Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
  • Ability for clear communication with co-workers, management, and customers
