Principal Mission Management Equipment Responsible Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mission Management Equipment Responsible Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining the future of mission management equipment systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret, allocate, tailor, write and flow down requirements to all levels of a system architecture
- Design and develop computer and network architectures, perform hardware integration and testing, and requirements analysis
- Trade studies, documenting subsystem architectures, analyzing performance, and evaluating Technology Readiness Level (TRL) with regard to supplier current and future products offerings
- Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams and specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate mission management subsystems to meet platform mission objectives
- Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration and test support
- Developing supplier documentation, performance based specifications, and statements of work
- Building supplier evaluation criteria and experience in conducting technical evaluations, documenting results and selection
- Review documents from the supplier's development effort and support supplier technical interchange meetings and design reviews
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 5 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 3 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering
- Active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years)
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Demonstrated experience in Ethernet-based networking design, to include IP address planning, switching, and routing
- Working knowledge of cyber security and Risk Managed Framework (RMF), STIGs and associated elements
- Experience with integration of COTS electronics into military systems
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering
- Possess a DODD 8570 certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar network/security certifications
- Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of Ethernet based avionics bus interfaces, integrated avionics systems, and operational ground systems
- Demonstrated understanding of IP address planning, VLANs, ACLs, encapsulation, switching, routing, QoS, service and/or application protocols
- Experience with authentication and data encryption methods, to include securing communications at either the data-link or network layer
- Experience with embedded systems, Unix and Linux operating systems, non-Cisco routing environments, single board computers, servers and Network Attached Storage (NAS) solutions
- Experience with working on a multidisciplinary team and writing technical proposals
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
- Active Top Secret clearance
