Senior Principal Mission Management Equipment Responsible Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Mission Management Equipment Responsible Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. This individual will be responsible for defining the future of our mission management equipment and will play a key role in the development of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret and allocate requirements to all levels of a system architecture
- Design and develop computer and network architectures, perform hardware integration and testing, and requirements analysis
- Trade studies, documenting subsystem architectures, analyzing performance, and evaluating Technology Readiness Level (TRL) with regard to supplier current and future products offerings
- Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate mission management subsystems to meet platform mission objectives
- Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration, and test support
- Developing supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work
- Building supplier evaluation criteria and experience in conducting technical evaluations, documenting results, and selection
- Review documents from the suppliers development effort and support supplier technical interchange meetings and design reviews
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 9 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 7 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering
- Active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years)
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Demonstrated experience in Ethernet-based networking design, to include IP address planning, switching, and routing
- Working knowledge of cyber security and Risk Managed Framework (RMF), STIGs, and associated elements
- Experience with integration of COTS electronics into military systems
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering
- Possess a DODD 8570 certification, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar network/security certification
- Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of Ethernet-based avionics bus interfaces, integrated avionics systems, and operational ground systems
- Demonstrated understanding of IP address planning, VLANs, ACLs, encapsulation, switching, routing, QoS, service, and/or application protocols
- Experience with authentication and data encryption methods, to include securing communications at either the data-link or network layer
- Experience with embedded systems, Unix, and Linux operating systems, non-Cisco routing environments, single-board computers, servers, and Network Attached Storage (NAS) solutions
- Experience with working on a multidisciplinary team and writing technical proposals
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
- Active Top Secret clearance
