The Mortgage Loan Consultant will engage in both incoming and outgoing communications with current Portfolio clients to promote a variety of mortgage solutions aimed at achieving personal sales targets, enhancing client retention, and fulfilling the requirements of homeowners.

- Call center environment with warm inbound and outbound leads.
- Manage inbound and outbound leads supplied by the company from our existing client base.
- Facilitate the processing of completed mortgage applications for eligible clients.
- Communicate effectively and set appropriate expectations with clients from the outset of the transaction.
- Assess clients for new mortgage loans utilizing automated underwriting systems (DU/LP).
- Present mortgage options to clients in a single call to secure their partnership with Ocwen Financial as their preferred lender.
- Gather necessary information/documents from clients to initiate processing.
- Distribute all required documentation to clients while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Comply with all regulatory mortgage compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal operations to consistently produce accurate files and successfully finalize transactions.
- Input transactions into Ocwen Financial's lead management system.
- Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in the transaction.
- Provide outstanding customer service to all borrowers.
- Organize daily activities to ensure a balance between handling inbound leads and following up with the current sales pipeline to consistently meet performance benchmarks.
- Participate in all training sessions, sales meetings, and orientations as required.
- Enhance knowledge of the mortgage industry by completing all internal training promptly.
- Demonstrate the ability to utilize multiple software applications simultaneously.
- Type at a speed exceeding 40 words per minute.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Encompass.
- Preferred 2 years of experience as a Loan Consultant in a call center, phone sales, or consultative sales environment.
- Ability to obtain necessary industry licensing and continue education (company-sponsored) across multiple states.
- Commitment to maintaining all federal and state licensing requirements annually.

- Customer service-oriented; responsive to client inquiries and concerns.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Availability to work shifts between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm, including rotational Saturdays.
