As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering financial aid to law students, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer financial aid to law students, including processing professional judgement applications and adjusting student financial aid awards as needed.
- Provide quality customer service to students and families, answering questions and addressing concerns related to financial aid.
- Counsel and award Law School Foundation scholarships to deserving students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to gather and analyze financial aid data for annual questionnaires, including the American Bar Association Questionnaire and the U.S. News and World Report Survey.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, with three years of related administrative and technical experience.
- Master's degree preferred, with prior supervisory and staff development experience.
- Ability to evaluate and implement new technologies, with knowledge of financial aid leveraging methods and business processes.
- Thorough understanding of federal and state aid rules and regulations, with knowledge of USDE systems including COD, CPS/FPS, NSLDS, SAIG Enrollment, etc.
