Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team at Volkswagen of Duluth. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional vehicle purchasing experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Approach and assist new customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Prospect for new customers and update our customer relationship management system.
  • Determine the needs of the customer by actively listening and asking questions.
  • Perform a walk-around with the customer to demonstrate the features of suitable automobiles.
  • Effectively close automotive sales by ensuring the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Follow-up with the customer's questions or concerns after the vehicle purchase process.
  • Understand and adhere to Volkswagen of Duluth's Auto Privacy and Information Security Policies.
  • Complete all training and attend all sales meetings.
  • Maintain monthly sales goal requirements and be accountable to departmental performance standards.
Qualifications
  • A valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Dependable with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Ability to work Saturdays, late shifts, and over 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
