Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Rental Sales Management Trainee to join our team. As a Rental Sales Management Trainee, you will be responsible for acquiring proven industry knowledge, skills, and resources to develop your relationship-building skills.

This fast-paced program touches every aspect of the business unit, and you will have the opportunity to carve out your own career path and promote from within based on performance. The program is designed to be completed in 18-24 months, but there is an opportunity to complete it in as little as 12 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
  • Maintaining current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
  • Generating rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads
  • Managing all rental asset processes, including vehicle PM and cleanliness standards
  • Meeting overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives
  • Maintaining compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies
  • Reconciling all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a similar related field
  • Five (5) years or more customer service experience with issues resolution
  • Computer literacy at an intermediate level
