Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Project Operations Intern to join our team at Bergelectric. As a key member of our project management team, you will assist in the coordination of project operations, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of projects.


Responsibilities
  • Assist in material requisition, submittal compilation, and on-site job walk-throughs to ensure accurate project documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, on-site foremen, and general contractors to coordinate project activities.
  • Manage online project document postings using Bluebeam Studio and Microsoft SharePoint to maintain project visibility and organization.
  • Work closely with field personnel to ensure timely and accurate material delivery.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients to ensure project success.
  • Assist in monitoring project planning, execution, and closure, and all project functions related to quality control and project management.
  • Establish and maintain project management files and drawings to ensure project integrity.
  • Research, acquire, and collate Submittals and Operations & Maintenance manual materials to support project delivery.
  • Keep project logs up to date throughout the project to ensure accurate project tracking.
  • Track correspondence and assist project managers with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a construction management or similar engineering program and in satisfactory standing.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Bluebeam, Accubid, or other estimation software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to present oneself in a professional manner and represent the company image.
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership and project success.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
