JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing daily cash inflows and outflows for investment fund clients;
  • Inquiring about cash and journal entries;
  • Participating in quarterly and annual audit processes;
  • Assisting with the management of open items and auditor communications;
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients, responding to inquiries promptly and with urgency;
  • Understanding the governing agreements between Alter Domus and its clients.
YOUR PROFILE:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An accounting degree with exemplary academic performance;
  • 2 to 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a Big 4 or another public accounting firm, focusing on audits for private equity or hedge funds;
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities;
  • A solid grasp of various investment types: equity, debt, co-investments, and Funds of Funds;
  • A keen eye for detail and critical thinking capabilities;
  • The ability to multitask, working both independently and collaboratively with professionals at all levels;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
  • CPA certification or intention to pursue CPA preferred.
