Business Operations Associate

We are a vibrant, Catholic independent school serving 375 boys in grades 7-12, in the MetroWest suburbs of Boston. Our school is dedicated to providing a rigorous academic program grounded in the Catholic faith, fostering intellectual curiosity, moral character, and a lifelong love of learning in our students.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Business Office Associate to join our dedicated team to support the school's financial and business operations.
Responsibilities- Verify and process vendor invoices for payment and maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Manage the school's credit accounts, usage, and reconciliation.
- Manage student billing and receivables, ensuring accurate allocation of tuition assistance / financial aid.
- Assist in the processing of incoming payments and generate financial reports using accounting software.
- Assist with year-end closing procedures and audits, and provide general operational support to the faculty and staff.
- Coordinate with the Operations team on financial matters and assist with event budgeting and invoicing.
- Assist with the management of insurance and risk management coverages, and provide administrative support for school's real estate management activities.
- Prepare tax and other regulatory filings, and provide additional HR support as needed.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or financial role.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills, with a meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software platforms and Microsoft Excel.
