Key Responsibilities
  • Manage environmental projects from start to finish, including asbestos abatement, microbial growth cleanup, and lead abatement.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, including OSHA and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines.
  • Supervise and train environmental technicians and temporary laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with clients, property owners, and industrial hygienists to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including project reports, safety records, and employee time sheets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in environmental project management, with a focus on asbestos abatement and lead remediation.
  • Asbestos 40-hour supervisor certificate and state ID required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
