Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Education Coordinator to join our team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational and financial management of an accredited medical education training program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Program Director and manage the day-to-day operations of the program.
  • Maintain databases and records of trainee and faculty data.
  • Develop and implement office systems and procedures to ensure efficient program management.
  • Assist with budget development and monitoring, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Coordinate recruitment and outreach efforts, including managing the Electronic Residency Application System database.
  • Organize meetings and events, and prepare materials for conferences and lectures.
  • Develop and maintain external program advertising and media.
  • Facilitate evaluative processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee department-level trainee orientation and correspond with new trainees.
  • Assist with program development and accreditation efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of experience in program/project administration or a related field.
  • Previous experience in medical education administration is preferred.
