Job Title: Lead Field Service Technician

Qualus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our field services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and functionality of our clients' electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform testing and maintenance on low and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Conduct mechanical work and repairs on electrical equipment, including tear down, refurbishment, and parts replacement.
  • Utilize and accurately read meters, schematics, and wiring drawings.
  • Troubleshoot circuit controls and read time-current curves.
  • Test power and current transformers, including Power Factor and TTR.
  • Accurately document using Power DB.
  • Work with electrical testing equipment and tools.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of related experience in power plants, industrial services, primary power distribution, and related protection and control schemes.
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial or commercial power systems experience.
  • Licensures and Certifications: NETA 2, 3, or 4 preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, and job management ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerDB, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Valid Driver's license and good driving record.
