Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Manager to lead the Laboratory Unit at Memorial Regional.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of laboratory procedures and instrumentation, as well as the ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage laboratory staff
  • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a laboratory setting
  • Advanced knowledge of laboratory information systems
  • Critical thinking skills and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Additional Information:

Graduate of an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist program

Requires a Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License
