Nutrition Therapist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our Ocean County Visits team. As a Registered Dietitian, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients in their homes.
Responsibilities:- Conduct home visits to clients in designated territories, providing reliable and objective information and education on medical nutrition therapy.
- Develop and implement dietetic education programs for staff, clients, and caregivers, promoting preventative care and disease management.
- Assess and counsel clients and families on nutritional needs, providing thorough documentation of clinical treatment through electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with the home healthcare team to provide expert nutritional care, utilizing the latest scientific findings and information to inform practice.
- Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition from an accredited institution.
- Registration with the American Dietetic Association and licensure as a Registered Dietitian in the state of NJ.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting, with home health care experience a plus.
- Strong computer skills, with prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
