Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Teledyne FLIR LLC. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to work orders and complete routine tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Operate and maintain facilities water room and perform mechanical in-house repairs throughout the facility and grounds.
  • Perform work in various maintenance trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting.
  • Routine equipment repair, building upgrades, and installation of fixtures.
  • Make periodic or special inspections of premises to determine repair work necessary.
  • Work from rough sketches and drawings.
  • Perform moderately complex tasks that require judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Chemical handling is also a must.
  • Ability to perform outdoor duties in inclement weather if needed.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment with a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • Minimum four or more years' relevant experience in the maintenance trades.
  • Formal knowledge in specialized fields, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting processes.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to use time and resources effectively and efficiently; have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting processes.
  • Water treatment experience a plus.
  • Performs routine equipment repair, preventative maintenance, building upgrades, and installation of fixtures.
  • Housekeeping, trash handling, floor cleaning with machine, forklift operation.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Safely operate various power tools and equipment.
  • Use of small hand tools.
