Position Overview:
The Procurement Support Specialist plays a vital role in facilitating purchasing processes within the organization. This position is ideal for individuals looking to establish a stable career path in a dynamic environment.


Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role ranges from $20 to $25, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package after 60 days, which includes medical, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance, and paid time off.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as a primary point of contact between various departments regarding procurement activities.
2. Assist in generating purchase orders for suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers.
3. Maintain accurate and updated purchase orders with relevant notes to keep the sales team informed.
4. Identify and address challenges throughout the procurement lifecycle proactively.
5. Communicate any issues affecting customer orders to the sales team.
6. Foster and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
7. Ensure suppliers meet performance standards in quality, cost, and timely delivery.
8. Address price discrepancies with vendors and sales teams.
9. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure purchased products align with company needs.
10. Cultivate a cooperative working environment with sales, warehouse, customer service, and management teams to achieve positive outcomes.


Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; sponsorship is not available.
- Previous purchasing experience is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in an office environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Committed to delivering exceptional customer service with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Familiarity with SAP software is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
