The U.S. Department of the Interior is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Field Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for making strategic decisions that sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of public lands for the benefit of present and future generations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement land and resource management plans in collaboration with federal, state, tribal, and local governments, as well as private landowners and public land users.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field office staff to ensure effective problem-solving and goal achievement.
- Coordinate with employees to prioritize work, develop schedules, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Resolve conflicts between teams and allocate resources to ensure high-quality products are delivered efficiently.
- Recruit and develop personnel with the necessary skills and expertise to support field office programs and initiatives.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
