Job Overview

Morris & Associates, a leading provider of process cooling solutions, is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join their team. This role will involve working on control system integration projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, build, program, commission, and hand off sophisticated automation systems, including industrial control panels and manufacturing equipment.
  • Project Management: Participate in engineering release meetings and communicate with customers to understand project requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE, and RSLinx), with experience in specifying components and designing industrial control panels.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory and approval agency requirements (UL508A, NEC, etc.).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in control system integration, with proficiency in Rockwell Automation software and industrial control panel design.
  • Familiarity with Mitsubishi PLC and HMI programming, AutoCAD Electrical, and industrial refrigeration systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop programming that meets customer specifications.
