Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

Our client in New Britain, CT is seeking a Manufacturing Lead to oversee production scheduling and ensure efficient work assignments. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Assign production tasks to employees to meet quality standards and production schedules.
- Review and adjust schedules as needed to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and housekeeping standards.
- Provide coverage for production employees during absences.
- Arrange maintenance and repairs for equipment and tools.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with production scheduling.
