Front Desk Associate

The Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role in providing a welcoming atmosphere for members, guests, and staff at Gold's Gym Washington. This position involves assisting members, addressing inquiries related to gym operations, and executing various administrative duties as directed by the Gym General Manager or Operations Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet Members and Guests: Offer a warm welcome to all individuals upon their arrival and departure.
  • Security Monitoring: Ensure the safety of the facility by overseeing the front entrance and retail space.
  • Member Check-in: Facilitate the check-in process for members in accordance with established protocols.
  • Account Management: Identify and report any delinquent accounts to the Gym Operations Supervisor.
  • Guest Registration: Process guest registrations following the appropriate procedures.
  • Appointment Direction: Promptly guide guests and appointments to the fitness consultants.
  • Phone Assistance: Professionally handle phone inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Message Taking: Accurately record messages and inquiries.
  • Follow-up: Confirm appointments through follow-up calls.
  • Member Support: Address requests and concerns from members in a timely manner.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a neat appearance and adhere to the uniform policy.
  • Sales Handling: Manage retail and concession transactions.
  • Staff Meetings: Attend meetings as required.
  • Front Desk Maintenance: Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
  • Maintenance Logging: Record maintenance issues and report safety concerns.
  • Incident Reporting: Notify management of any incidents that necessitate a report.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and cash handling procedures.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.
  • Capability to multitask and maintain a flexible schedule.
  • Physical ability to lift weights and stand for extended periods.
