- Accountable for evaluating patient requirements, engaging in care strategy formulation, delivering or assigning care, and assessing patient advancement.
- Oversees Licensed Practical Nurses and auxiliary personnel.
- Adheres to the organization's mission, vision, and core values.
- Initiates evaluations based on patient necessities and integrates information to determine nursing priorities.
- Implements interventions and provides education to patients and their families.
- Assesses patient reactions and progress towards established outcomes.
- Records patient care in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members and supports patient transitions.
- Engages in ongoing education and personal development.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess current Registered Nurse licensure in Nebraska or an approved compact state, certification in the relevant practice area, and Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is mandatory. Recognizes certifications from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and Military Training Network.
