Role Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated full-time or part-time BSN Instructor with expertise in Obstetrics or Pediatrics to deliver both clinical and theoretical instruction. While prior teaching experience is not mandatory, candidates must possess a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

  • Ensure clinical assignments align with both student and facility requirements.
  • Determine effective methods for observing, instructing, and evaluating students.
  • Verify that clinical facilities meet all health and safety standards for student participation.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication with students through scheduled office hours and electronic means.
  • Participate in student advising initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • No prior teaching experience is required; our Faculty Development training program will equip you with the necessary skills for success in the classroom.
  • Possess a valid and active nursing license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Hold a Master of Nursing or higher degree from an accredited institution, including coursework in nursing or education, with a focus on Obstetrics or Pediatrics.
  • Have a minimum of four years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
  • Demonstrate at least one year of clinical experience within the last five years (clinical teaching counts towards direct patient care).
  • Exhibit expertise in Obstetrics or Pediatrics nursing.
