Job Title: BSN Instructor - FT or PT Med Surge Specialty

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BSN Instructor to join our team at Unitek Learning. As a Med/Surg Nursing Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching didactic and clinical courses to students in our nursing program.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other instructors to prepare and administer exams
  • Assure class attendance and grades are kept and submitted
  • Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives
  • Plan and implement orientation of new faculty
  • Utilize principles of teaching that recognize the characteristics of the adult learner
  • Maintain student records of attendance and skills check-off forms
  • Submit required program reports and forms in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Valid, active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing
  • Master of Nursing or higher degree from an accredited college or university
  • At least four years' experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
  • Expertise in one of the following areas of nursing - Med/Surg/Geriatrics
