About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Cornerstone Recruiters LLC. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for designing and modifying core and molding machines, as well as optimizing plant layouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and modify core and molding machines, as well as supporting equipment
- Optimize plant layouts to improve efficiency and productivity
- Create detail drawings for fabrication and work with vendors and our in-house shop for creation of parts and sub-assemblies
- Manage bills of material and participate in specification and drawing review
- Work with customers to support machinery and installation needs
- Collaborate with other engineers to facilitate accurate work product and timely response to project needs and customer support
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in industrial machine design and fabrication, field service, and supervising small teams
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Proficiency in creating fabrication and assembly drawings with AutoCAD and Solid Works
- Familiarity with precision industrial automation machinery using hydraulic and pneumatic actuators
- Ability to travel primarily throughout North America
Location
Candidates must be willing to live in the greater Cleveland area to be considered for this position.
