EHS Manager Job Description

Human Resource Dimensions is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team. As an EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement EHS Programs: Create and implement EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Investigate Incidents: Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees on EHS policies and procedures.
  • Manage EHS Budget: Manage the EHS budget to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders, including employees, management, and regulatory agencies, to ensure effective communication and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a safety science, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or a related discipline.
  • Certification: Certification in a professional EHS field, such as CSP or ASP.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in EHS management, including experience in implementing EHS management systems and conducting audits and inspections.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
