Position Overview
As a key member of the Air Force Materiel Command, the primary role of the Senior Law Enforcement Supervisor is to act as a guiding force within the law enforcement team. This position entails overseeing the enforcement of a comprehensive range of federal and local regulations, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and property.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership: Serve as the lead officer by effectively planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of a team of three or more police officers.
2. Law Enforcement Duties: Execute the full range of law enforcement responsibilities within designated jurisdictions.
3. Investigative Work: Conduct thorough investigations and surveillance operations.
4. Emergency Management: Act as the Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) Controller and Alarm Monitor, ensuring rapid response to incidents.
5. Incident Command: Manage emergency situations with a focus on command and control.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the experience requirements outlined in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Police Series. Applicants should possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level or its equivalent in other pay systems.

Essential Skills and Abilities
1. In-depth knowledge of law enforcement procedures and operational methods necessary for independent execution of police activities.
2. Familiarity with specialized access control measures to maintain security in sensitive areas.
3. Proficiency in the appropriate use of force and self-defense techniques to ensure personal and public safety.
4. Capability to operate vehicles with specific weight and loading capacities for transportation purposes.
5. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
6. Ability to foster positive working relationships with community management and other law enforcement entities.
7. Competence in prioritizing tasks, monitoring workflow, and providing on-the-job training and feedback to team members.
