Network Administrator/Sensor Technician

About the Role:
KBR's Defense Systems Engineering (DSE) business unit is seeking a skilled Network Administrator/Sensor Technician to join our Cyber Security Solutions (CSS) Operating Unit. Our team delivers defensive cyber services and solutions to the DoD, Federal Agencies, and Intelligence Community.

Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure, and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure smooth network operation. Key duties include:

  • Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate customer's networks and in-house servers
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
  • Keep an eye out for needed updates
  • Support and administer third-party applications
  • Ensure network security and connectivity
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
  • Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords
  • Resolve problems reported by end users
  • Define network policies and procedures
  • Specify system requirements and design solutions
  • Research and make recommendations on server system administration

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience. Candidate MUST already possess an active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility (US Citizen Only). Required certifications include one of the following DoD 8570 IAT Level II or CSSP Infrastructure Support (CSSP-IS).
