The Role:

The Field Service Engineer IV maintains high-quality medical imaging equipment for our customers, including systems applications, quality checks, calibration, operating system help, software assistance, technical support, and issue troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:
  1. Troubleshoot high-end medical imaging equipment.
  2. Establish and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules.
  3. Maintain customer service logs and internal service records.
  4. Solve issues with medical imaging applications, electrical components, computer hardware, and software, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  5. Follow Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety, and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.
  6. Perform service, calibrations, and quality assurance checks for an entire imaging system as per the ISO13485 standards.
  7. Deliver technical support on high-end medical imaging equipment online and/or via telephone.
  8. Communicate daily with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
  9. Maintain system performance by performing system monitoring and evaluation, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks, and operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing; escalating application problems to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
  10. Interact regularly with radiologists, technicians, physicians, and other medical professionals to keep abreast of new and existing imaging solutions, issues, and trends.
  11. Provide continuous up-time support for applications software issues associated with the X-ray and Vascular modalities.
  12. Utilize Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) for viewing, filming, archiving, networking, and database administration.
  13. Prepare users by designing and conducting training programs, providing software support and reference.
  14. Supply online and telephone support for Windows and Linux.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 15 years of high-end medical imaging equipment maintenance and repair experience.
  2. High School Diploma or GED.
  3. Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
  4. Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
  5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule.
  6. Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
  7. The ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 75 pounds.
  8. The ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
