Career Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance and Operations Supervisor to join our team at Fairfield Residential. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our apartment communities, including supervising maintenance staff, scheduling repairs, and developing preventive maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train a team of maintenance technicians to ensure high-quality work and excellent customer service.
  • Schedule and perform routine and emergency maintenance repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate inventory records to optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure seamless execution of operational tasks and activities.

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of experience in apartment or building maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
  • HVAC-EPA (Type II) certification required; Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management software.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive estimated salary range of $28.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
